How to add Microsoft Outlook to notifications area??

I use to have microsoft outlook (the application I use for my calendar) in the notifications are of my destkop (the bottom right corner area next to the clock). When I would minimize outlook it would hide and only show the outlook icon in the notifications area. I must have done something accidentally but now the outlook icon does not appear at all in the notifications area. And when I open outlook through the start menu then minimize it, outlook just goes away completely. please help, thanks

When you have Outlook open and the Icon is there, right click it and clear the check mark at "Hide When Minimized"
