how to Backup D Drive in windows 7

    Hi Guys,

    Please Help me how to Backup D Drive in windows 7.

    As per my knowledge we can backup C drive with Backup $ Restore option in windows 7 but my request is I want to Backup D : drive or E drive personal data folders.

    open the d drive(or any other drive you want to back up) and hit control a to select all the folders, then right click on one of them and choose send to compressed folder, follow the instructions to copy this folder to your desktop. when it is done, move the zipped folder to your external backup media.

    There are multiple ways, depending on what/how you want to do it.

    For another example, I use an imaging tool (Macrium Reflect Free) to backup data partitions as well as system partitions.

    There are backup programs that will do incremental backups or on a schedule.

    Or you could backup data to "the cloud."
