I have some previously owned movies that I want to burn onto some cds. Not sure if I did this right so far but I used a ripping program that put them into MPEG and I save them on my hard drive. I tried to use Nero 5 to burn them onto a CD but it isn't working. The problem I am having is that the movie is to big for just 1 cd. Does anyone know how I can burn this movie onto 2 CD's using Nero?? I don't have a dvd burner which is why they are going on a cd, I have a Cd-rw and use Windows XP if that matters. I did try using Nero 6 but I had so many problems with it and kept getting errors. Can anyone help?

Yes you can burn movies ( movies you own of course, I do not encourage copying movies for any illegal purpose) even if you don't have dvd burner, I have done it in the past! All you need to do is first rip the movie and you can use a cd-rw to burn it. Check it out there are a lot of programs out there.
The reason I am having a problem now is that the movie are full length. I have burned my kids dvds onto cds with not problems only because they were short movies. Just don't know how to split a full length.
