how to change a internal hard disk to a external hard disk

    i have a 80gb internal hard disk since it was not sufficient i switched up to a 500gb hard disk so i want to know whether i can use my 80gb hard disk as an external hard disk
    if so how please instruct me

    Yes you can, but you'll have to answer aswinkr question as to the type of drive it is as that determines the type of enclosure or other external hook up you would need.

    I don't believe 80GB SATA drives were manufactured. A drive that old is not going to be very reliable. I wouldn't use it for data backup.
