    Hi,

I want to block my son playing game during weekdays. But I don't want to direct him to Netgear (if he knows Netgear is blocking, he will learn how to reset Netgear). I want to display something like "no game during weekdays". How do I do it?

    Thanks,
    Betty

You'll have to get another router which allows you to customize the blocked sites message.

He'll still likely figure out its the router and reset it just the same. If he resets your router then you need more than a hardware solution to address his gaming or disobedience issues. If you really want to go this approach remove the router out of his access.

    ^This.

That's why physical security is always a factor in the overall IT security plans for a corporation. Once anyone has physical access to router, switch, server, etc, they can practically do anything to that box or anything on your network.
