Hi Friends, I have Binatone DT 815 ADSL2 router (not wireless) with Airtel broadband connction. Recently it has started causing problem. About once in a fortnight, like ‘ Additional log on information may be required’ or ‘Your router is not registerd with us’ or things like that. So every now and then the technician has to be called for configuring the router. After that it works for some days. Then again the problem and reconfiguring, which is quite problematic.
Please tell me , in detail, how to configure the router myself. Thanks.

    First Name:
If the modem/router is owned by the ISP ask for a replacement. If it is yours consider replacing it.

General outline--when it is working login to it and record all the important settings. These include all those in the WAN (or Internet) section such as type of connection (probably PPPoE), the MAC Address and your account/password. If you have a user manual (try the Binatone web site) this task should be easier. By "record" I mean to write down the settings or save some screen shots where you can find them easily.
