I'm a real newbie at this stuff......

Me and my notebook are going on vacation.....notebook has 56K modem....vacation has phone connection access.

I want to dial-up to my ISP (long distance) using a calling card.
(I use this calling card as my primary long distance - only .039 a minute!)

How can I set-up an internet connection using this??
I have to dial an 800 number.....then I have to input my account number......then I have to input the number I am calling.

Anyway to do this??

Thanks for your help?

It is possible.. if your on win 98 you would open

my computer: dial-up networking

you'll see your connection.. double click it..

click the dial properties button...

there is an option "for long distance calls use this calling card"

from there you will have to set up the settings for your calling card unless of course your card is listed there.

Good luck.

Thanks.........

I'm going to try it and see how it works!

I didn't even know that was there.......I guess I'm afraid of snooping around the computer.....always afraid that I'll hurt it!!

Thanks for sharing,

Ellie :p
