If your printer is a "wireless printer" then it should have come with instructions and software on how to get it on the network. What is the exact make and model of your printer?

What printer do you have to prevent this from getting complicated?

You have several possible options depending on the printer. If its USB only then you connect it to one PC, share it and then from the second PC you run from the run line \\ComputerName\PrinterName

It is an HP color laser jet CP2025. Not wireless. I have two computers hooked up to the internet via a router [not a wireless one]. How do I connect the two to one printer?

It has ethernet so you should be able to connect it to your DHCP enabled router, and access the webconfig by entering its IP address 192.168.1.3 for example. You will need to use one PC as a print server by installing the drivers, but it should be easy enough.

I found this guide too which may have more info.

I did not read it to confirm it has the steps though.

That link ultimately leads to this one:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814005

Which I just skimmed and it does have the step by step instructions (including pictures) on how to do what you requested.

That KB is sort of the long way to do the same... but it should work!
