Using emulators is deemed illegal and therefore no help will be given to you.

    however you are still wrong!!!!

I own both a NES and the Copy of Final Fantasy III Japanese Version

That allows me to have rights to do what I want to it for a non profitble reason.

I just want to know how to convert a silly rm0 file into a AVI so I can save my game videos. For my own official purpose.

Regardless if you own the original cartridge. It's an illegal tool.

I suspect that your stay on this site will be very short indeed.

wazzy - laws vary from country to country, we travel in a global community when we are online and "legal" issues become hard to recognize. But that doesn't matter as it clearly states in the TSG rules that emulators can not be discussed so their legality is a moot point.

Tidus - all it sounds like he is using this "emulator" for is to record "movies" of gameplay similar to what FRAPS does

DM, regardless to the use, the owner (nintendo) has specifically state that they are illegal.

Unless Nintendo changes their statement, it still stands.

That wasn't a shot at you tidus, I was just pointing out the legality doesn't matter (to eliminate that argument) as the site rules forbid it anyway. However since posting my FRAPS comment I've noticed he has questions about this emulator recording scattered all about the site (I hit 3 in a couple of seconds, one already recommending FRAPS) so like you said, his stay here will probably be short lived.
