how to create drop down lists in excel

I would like to know how to choose a drop down list of values when I select certain cells. And how to I assign the cell to show the drop down list (with a down arrow on the right hand side of the cell). Thank you all!!!!:confused: :confused:

Go to Data > Validation and from the allow dropdown select List. In the source area you can make a reference to any range of cells for the list or manually type in comma seperated values.
