Yesterday, I started to get an ad interfering with my homepage. When I try to read a news article, this ad jumps in. I can't find any place on the ad to delete it. I'm using Win 10 and IE 11. There is a contact email address, but when I tried to contact the ad source, the email could not be delivered. This is the address where this ad is coming from:
    http://us-weeklymag.com/time/s1/headm3/report10.php
The support address is: [email protected]
How can I get rid of this ad?

    Thanks.

The link you posted doesn't work for me, it just shows as ERROR 404 PAGE NOT FOUND
Is it the address of the ad itself ? If so please post the address of your homepage.

I think it's a Windows 10 thing, it doesn't seem to happen on my Windows 7.

That wouldn't surprise me at all!! The ads don't seem to appear when I use Win Edge only when I use IE 11.

The ads have stopped popping up! Perhaps I was a little premature. I don't know what happened. Maybe I'm cursed with a computer gremlin!! I'm going to wait a few days and see if they return. Sorry to be a trouble.

Well, being that it appears to be the Times webpage, and most of these sites do have ads and there is not much one can do.

Some ad blockers do work, but these sites are learning how to get around your ad blocker.

I just use the built in pop up blocker in Edge.

I too use AdBlockPlus in IE.
For Firefox, Palemoon, and Vivaldi I have switched to uBlockOrigin which works better.
I see no ads. I just fired up all 3 browsers.
