how to delete file

    i have a file,it,s name is *King.Arthur.Excalibur.Rising.2017.HDRip.XviD.AC3-EVO.mkv* i get this file when i merge a video and a subtitle .. in the time that im merging [ its quite 70% ] my little brother unplug the charger of my laptop [ my laptop has no battery ] when i turn on my laptop again and i open the file [ at the top ] it opens. but when i was about to delete it it cant be deleted [ theres no error message ] my laptop will just crash and i try everything like winrar but it cant also delete the file cause when it about to delete the file my pc will just crash.i cant rename it or view properties cause it crashed.also i try cmd but im having trouble cause it said "the directory name is invalid" [ i tried deleteing it ] pls help thank u

    I use a linux live USB stick to delete anything that I can't do in Windows.

    MoveOnBoot, Unlocker, and WhoLocksMe as well as several other programs would never allow me to do anything with a file (move, delete, copy, rename, erase).
    The only thing that worked for me is a linux live USB stick.
