running on Windows XP. The scenario: a diskchk on my D drive (NFTS) keeps happening everytime i boot up my PC despite me doing a proper shutdown and whatnot. And after the diskchk, nothing shows up so im presuming everything's fine and all.

I've tried restoring it to an earlier RESTORE POINT to combat the problem but strangely, the PC is not doing that either.

Is there something wrong??? And how do i disable the annoying diskchk?

    many thanks in advance!!!!
