how to embed pictures in email?

I want to send email that includes pictures next to descriptive text. Tried copy/paste but no go. The pictures just end up as an attachment and not in the email itself.

 

What e-mail system are you using?

I use MSN Hotmail and AT&T Yahoo. I think that is called 'web-based email'.

 

I looked into Hotmail and Yahoo, which I use. Apparently a pic can't be inserted in the body of an e-mail. However, it can be done with "Outlook Express."

Go to OE> Help> Creating and sending e-mail> Inserting items in an e-mail message> Insert pictures in a message.
