How to enable bluetooth sound

I have connected bluetooth headphone to my laptop but can't enable the sound volume in sound property, blue tooth headphones was faded out whilst the speakers sound had a green tick.

Are you sure your laptop wireless receiver or whatever it's called to pick up things wirelessly is working? It may also be your Bluetooth device. Have you tried any other bluetooth devices on it?
