hmm, u cant find out the date of manufacture of your hardware from any command. But u can find out the date of OS installation from a command

And u need to check the date of manufacture of individual components like motherboard, cpu and hard disk etc.

Its kinda difficult to find out the date of manufacture. But somewhat possible to find our year/month of manufacture :)

    Hi jamsheed,
This free prog 'Belarc Advisor' can give you loads of info but whether it can give you that exact date I'm not sure.

Have a read or give it a try to see if it's what you need.

Without physically looking at each component in a system, it's pretty tough to get an exact date of manufacture.

Something like Belarc Advisor (http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) can give you the date of your BIOS manufacture, but besides that, there's not a great deal that you can do.

START --> RUN --> DXDIAG | SYSTEM tab.

Also, START --> RUN --> MSD then press "P"

    IHTH.

No, it won't tell you exactly when your hardware was
manufactured, unfortunately. For this, you'll have to look
on the back of your computer, for a serial number,
and then call the manufacturer. If you'd built it yourself,
then you'd KNOW what year! LOL
