How to format a CD_RW

    I have Nero6 Ultra Edition and I cannot find how to format a CD_RW disc. Can someone help? :confused:

    That's only if you want to format the disc for use with INCD, which is not the most reliable way to burn to a disc. If you mean you just want to empty the CDRW disc for use again, in Nero click 'Recorder' on the top menu , 'Erase Re-writable Disc'.

    Do not install InCD unless you really have a need for it. Why too many problems are caused by it.

    And, if you don't use packet writing, AKA INCD, you don't format the CD-RW before use. :)

    I have never had any issues using INCD, but have only ever used it to format DVD for use with TI8 for new os and driver installs, and as a 700 mb large floppy type disc for use with the right click send to ,for doc's and alike. If you just what to erase it and have xp pop it in the drive, right click and select erase disk, if it's already formatted
