    Hi guys,

Having bought a double CD album, I want to put it onto my mp3 player. CD2 works fine, but CD1 will only show as a data cd and link me to the website associated with the cd. On the cd according to internet explorer there are 3 files: Autorun.dat, Autorun.setup inf, Autorun.exe.

Is there anyway of convincing my pc it is an audio cd and not a data cd?

    Here's hoping.

what program are you using to rip the cd? if you are just using the winxp popup (which leads you to windows media player), maybe you should try a different program.
    personally i like CDex
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/cdexos/
    see if that program works.
