A PHP page won't show ANY results until it fully finishes.
Is there any way to put out messages as it goes?

Any way to show a message on the browser page before
the PHP page fully finishes it's processing?

This would be a great facility if there was just some way
of doing it.

Thanks

The simple answer is No, there's no way of doing that.

The more complicated answer is:
You could load up a page that says "Your request is being processed" and then in an iframe, or real frame, or popup window, or ajax, or whatever else can get you a new page do your actual processing there.

Although this would take marginally longer to load because of the intermediate page, it can keep people from clicking a link 12 or 15 times.
