Open Regedit, and drill down to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace
and to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{BDEADF00-C265-11D0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F}

Klck on the + sign next to NameSpace.

You'll see a number of subkeys representing the folders in MY Computer.
Click on them, and check what name they have in the right pane.

Is there one there that has no name?

When you find the CLSID without accompanying name in the right pane, rightclick it, and choose 'rename'.

Say it looks like this (example) : {BDEADF00-C265-11D0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F}

Now edit it by putting a little minus sign preciding it, so that it looks like this (example):
-{BDEADF00-C265-11D0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F}

If you go back to your desktop, and refresh it, the icon that you've edited like described will be gone.

When you're sure you've got the right one, you can delete it altogether, if you like.

Good luck,
