    Hello.
Is there any way I can install a program from floppy disks without having
    an A: drive?
Ex.: I have an older program on 3.5 disks, and it has disk 1, 2 and 3.
How can I install it on a loptop that does not have a floppy drive?
If I just copy the disks to a CD-ROM is not good, but there must be a way
    around it.
    Thank you very much,
    Valentine :)

Hi and welcome. You should be able to copy the floppies to a cdrom and install that way. What program are you trying to copy and install?

Many applications in the bad old days of floppy distributions used to install if you put them into a directory with the contents of the disks in sub-directories labeled DISK1, DISK2, etc. You'd then go into DISK1 and fire up the setup and follow your nose.

But valentine007, you are not being "fair" to those who did try to help you. At this point, they don't know if anyone succeeded in helping you and if so, what method helped you. Knowing such things add to all of our learning.
Only an observation and nothing but good manners is being suggested for all of us to follow. (I have been guilty on occasions also)
BTW, I hope you were successful!!

    rightaway.
Will let you know what worked.
    Thank you.
