Added all the drive descriptions to make searching easier- :)

Helping in another thread I found this nice utility- works with win 2000 and up-

http://wintoflash.com/download/en/

What this does is take a usb drive and make it bootable and installs your windows setup files automatically.

It works and it is way easy

It took me maybe an hour to load the flash drive but only two minutes to get started and the other 58 minutes were miller time. (my flash drive is quite slow)

select your thumb drive letter and the drive letter with cd\dvd with windows disk- that is the choices unless you are doing a different os than default.

Set your comp to boot from usb- You will need the friggin floppy disk for xp sata drivers

first boot select

1. text option-reboot to flash drive

during the installation process it will reboot the machine- leave the flash drive in place-

second boot select:

2. gui-finish installation-1st windows desktop-

your done- boot from hdd.
