how to make windows xp bootable cd ?

    hi,

    i have windows xp sp3 files in folders and files now i want to make a bootable cd so when i restart my computer windows setup loads.

    what shall i do ?

    what software do i need ?

    please post correct instructions.

    just having the service pack files isn't going to do you any good.

    i can make an iso image file of those folder and files using magiciso but how do i make it bootable because i need instructions as how to make it bootable.

    i also did search on google for tutorials and some says to download a copy of windows image and make it bootable but it doesnt work

    You can't make a bootable Windows installation disk from the system files on your computer. You need an actual Windows disk.

    i am not making windows xp from system files i already downloaded windows xp sp3 from online now i wanted to burn into disk and make it bootable.

    The service pack itself, is not bootable.

    look i downloaded windows xp sp3 from online and when i run the setup it runs well and it has all the files to run setup from boot but how do i make it bootable.

    So you downloaded Windows XP with sp3, not just the sp3 update, is that correct?

    yes i downloaded full package not just sp3 update.

    what is the site you downloaded it from?

    reason I ask, something doesn't sound anywhere near right on this matter.

    So again, I need to know where you downloaded it from. Please provide a link.

    Ther is no where you can download Windows XP from legally so we can no longer assist you with this.

    common i downloaded from friends computer who is residing in states.

    its legal copy!

    i am not providing copy of windows to anyone i am just asking for instructions on how to make windows xp cd bootable, if you search on google there are many tutorials but it didnt work for me so i am asking from an expert here who can share knowledge.
