I have two worksheets A+B, I need to pull in data from sheet A to sheet B, sheet A+B both have matching records, company name for example that can link the sheets.
so i need to pull in data from column C in sheet A, to say column L in sheet B.

    First Name:
you can use a vlookup or an index/match

in column L in sheet b

    =index (sheeta!C:C,match(sheetb!A1,sheeta!A:A,0))

assuming its matching values in column A

I would say the easiest way to pull data from one column to a different sheet is to copy the column that you want to copy and paste to the sheet that you want to use. That's how I transfered specific information or specific columns from another data sheet when I was in training and I found all those codes and = frustrating and not at all user friendly. I still earned a 4.0 GPA because the instructor said it was okay as long as I knew how to transfer specific data information on one sheet to another was all that mattered.
