I'm fixing a PC that displays 2 Windows 2000 Professional OS at startup.
How do I get rid of one.

It appears someone re-loaded the OS again.
The first option appears to work ok... the 2nd gives a stop message and "inaccessible_boot_device".... so I assume it's not really there.

Any direction on how to have only one would be appreciated.

    Edit the c:\boot.ini file

Under [operating systems] remove the entry you don't want

    Thanks Bob...

    FYI,
the first (good) os is pointing to /winnt2
the second (bad) is pointing to winnt

Can I should I delete the /winnt directory??

If you are certain there is nothing there you need, then you can delete the directory. I would play it safe and rename it first.
