how to remove media player and screensavers in xp pro ?

    like the questions says...surely it must be possible to delete media player by now,someone must have made a tool to do it...and the damn screensavers come back after deletion every time

    Not sure about the media player, but there is a hidden folder in windows XP called C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache.

    It keeps and extra copy of the screen savers in there and when you delete them from the system32 folder, it replaces them.

    First delete them from the dllcache and then delete them from the system32 folder.

    I believe that a copy of media player is also included there.
