This has been bugging me for ages. Nearly every day I have 20-40 mails to which I need to send the same confirmation email. I can't find a way to do it. I did find a file online called bulkreply.oft which seemed like a macro which did it, but it infected me with a virus I couldn't shake (I think),and I ended up reformatting my drive

So, any ideas would be good. Changing email programs isn't really a viable option, BTW. Bye now ;)

Hi Scapes,

Firstly, add all recipients to your address book, if they aren't already, and then do the following...

Open a new mail, click Tools | Address Book. Then on the address book, click File | New Group. Click the Group tab, then the Select Members button.

Then in the new window you have two panes.. the left is your address book. Click each one you want to include in turn, and press the Select button after each. This moves them into the group you are setting up. This can be used for any selection of more than one person, and can be changed or updated, at any time.

Choose a name for your group, such as Confirmation 13/10 ... or whatever :) and click OK.

Now open your address book and you will see your group listed. Select that address as normal, and your mail will be sent to all recipients in that group.

Hope that helps,

Cheers

Liam

Hi,
Thanks for the idea - I did think of that a while back. But the problem is I'll end up with 1000's of people in my address book (the people are different every day), many who I'll only never need in there again after the first time.
My OUtlook (PST) file is already into 100's of Megabytes, so I don't want to make that any worse either .
