A couple of days ago I was trying to get my email
from Netscape but I couldn't connect to that
browser or to IE. So i pulled out the little blue
lit plug on the back of my Dell computer waited
a few seconds, plugged it back in pushed
the button on the right side to turn it back
on again and went back to Netscape
but when I did all my email had been deleted.
Help how can I get this back? It has happened
before.

Are you still using the Netscape Communicator for your email client? Or are you talking about an email account with netscape.net?

And, you mean the Communicator, right? Is your account POP or IMAP? Are you sure the messages are really gone, or are you maybe accessing a default profile instead of your real one?

Support (which had been very poor since AOL took it over, anyhow) for Netscape stopped about three years ago, right? Consider switching to something else. I switched to Thunderbird years ago, and the transition was pretty easy as it has the same base as Netscape.

Look in your profile folder(s). See if your messages are actually in one of those. If not they are really gone.

If they are gone you may be able to retrieve them with a data recovery tool such as Recuva Portable; rely on your backups; if you don't delete them from your email server login using web mail and see what may be there.

Here is some info on file location; don't know if it applies to your OS.
