    Hello everyone,

Ok I have the wireless networ working somewhat. My first

question is this. I have called the workgroup.....workgroup

on the Main PC, Gateway PC, Laptop...but when I click on

View workgroup computers on the Laptop...all I see listed

is in fact the laptop and not the Main PC or the Gateway PC

    what gives ??

Laptop and Main PC are running Win XP Pro, Gateway PC

    running Win ME Full Version....

I can acess the Net from all 3 computer at the same time

and share files from the Laptop to the gateway and Main PC.

When I click on view workgroup computers on the Main PC

all I see is the laptop, I can transfer and use files on the

    Gateway from the main computer...

Yes I did buy the book WIRELESS Networks for Dummies and

it has given me some insight... Can any help out ??

Thanks for all the help given to me here..

    Sincerely,

    Tumang

The easy way to get this working is to install the NETBEUI protocol on all of the systems.

You installed NETBEUI on all of the systems?

Did you check TCP/IP properties under Advanced, WINS and make sure that NETBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled?

Try doing a search for the laptop from one of the other systems. Also, can you PING the laptop by name from the other computers?
