How to stop 'annoyingsite.com' asking to send notifications

Using Windows 10 and Firefox 64

Is there a way to stop that annoying drop down that keeps asking "Will you allow www.annoyingSOB.com to send notifications?"?

open FF/Settings/Options/privacy & Security/ scroll down to permissions, select notifications / settings and on the pop up box check the block new requests
