How to take ownership of folders

    I've tried to gain access to folders under c:/Windows and get error message says..." you do not have permission to access folder ..."...please post procedure...thanks!

    Are you not able to get to the Windows folder, which is a system folder? Are you not an administrator on this computer?

    I am Administrator on this PC...
    I've tried to access C:\Program Files\WindowsApps and get the error...
    "...You have been denied permision to access this folder.."

    Registry changes could make your computer unusable if it goes wrong.

    WindowsApps folder is a System folder. Why would you need ownership for that?
