i bought a new computer which came with winxp home ed. and corel wordperfect suite; i prefer ms office suite so i am trying to uninstall the corel suite but i cant seem to find an option to remove it in add/remove programs; i have an uninstall utility called advanced uninstaller pro but i still dont see corel or wordperfect as a program avail to uninstall.

What do u suggest?

Thanks :)

Just checked mine, and it shows up as WordPerfect Productivity Pack, in Add/Remove programs.

I have MS Office installed, but HDD size is fine, so have left it. Just as well, as I have had to convert some old .wps files recently, it was much better in WordPerfect.

Hmm, that's very odd that you see an option to uninstall whereas i dont on my system; i even went to that program file folder and look for an uninstall.exe file but no luck; it takes up about 230 MB on the C drive, which is ok for now but it's unnecessary as i have office 2003

If the applications came on a separate CD, try running it. The option may be available from Setup when you run it.

no, it didnt come on a separate cd; it came packaged with the computer's OS - xp, and the only cd's that came with the computer were like system recovery cd's.
