how to upgrade OS

    I've a hp notebook but I missed my XP homedition(os)CD that was given to my with the notebook.Due to some reason I want to upgrade my OS from home edition to XP pro.for that I need to install the new fresh OS.if I'm running the CD of XP professional all drivers need to be installed seperately or simply it'll work.my concern is I don't have any drivers with me like lan card driver,wireless driver,DVD driver,motherboad driver etc etc

    If you buy the upgrade CD, yes, you do need the XP Home CD. If you get a retail or OEM full version of XP Pro, no.

    Drivers are not so much of a problem. Just go to the notebook manufacturers website and you can download the drivers you need from there.
