Hi, I'm trying to install MS Office Home and Student 2007. Right away it says I need SP2 installed correctly before it allows install. I'm pretty sure I downloaded SP2 correctly as it's in my program list. Any Ideas?
    Thanks:confused:

On the desktop, right-click 'My Computer' and click on Properties. In the General window, under System, it should say:

    Windows XP etc.etc.
    Service Pack 2

MS doesn't plan to release SP2 until the first half of 09, do you mean SP1?

Thanks Claymore, I checked and it shows Service Pack1. However, what do the service pack2 hotfix(s) listed in add/remove progs, apply to?

    Thanks

    Hello again,

Sorry, I'm not familiar with that version of XP, so I wouldn't want to give misguided advice.. Techjed seems to know about it. Maybe he will help us. You could send him a personal message.
