I have Windows XP Pro, sp2.

When you click Start you can highlight Programs (in the classic view). When you highlight Programs, up pops a menu showing all the programs you have installed. These names are essentially shortcuts. I'd like to be able to write to this menu. Can somebody please tell me how to do this?

When you highlight Programs, right click it and select explore. Here you can add folders and shortcuts as needed.

You can also create folders and shortcuts on the desktop and drag them to the Start menu wherever you want.

Go to All Users>Start Menu or Prgoram (forget what they call it) and create them there.
