Take a Print Screen of it using the key for it labeled PrtSc or similar

if you press Alt key together with the print screen key it will on take a print of the active window.

    Hi Bonk

should have said i need a electronic copy of the error report to send to software provider. I tried ctrl + print screen to paste a copy of the box in my first post and this did not work.

    Cheers

Alt + PrtSc keys not Ctrl

Then go to Paint and press CTRL + V

    Save as JPG

Then in your reply go to Manage Attachment

Click on Browse find the image and click on Upload

    Thanks for your help Bonk.

Just out of interest, the error log is very long, is there a way of capturing the whole log without having to cut and paste loads of times.

I've included an attached example, as you can see the scroll bar is still at the top.

    Cheers:)

who is the error message from does it mention it in the error report

    you can check the EventViewer

Go Start>>Run type eventvwr.msc and look in System and Applications for any events about the same time usually with red X beside it....click on the event and read what it says and if it has a blue hyper link click on that for more info

    Aslo
Click Start>>Run type drwtsn32 click OK

Click on Crash dump and see if any error messages are there.

    Bonk

    sorry

should have said, I wasn't posting the screen dump to be looked at on this site. Just needed a hand capturing the information so I could send it to the software provider. I wanted to see if I could capture the whole thing rather than pasting and creating about a hundred files.

Thanks for the extra help, I'll check out event viewer and crash dump. If I get no joy from the provider, I'll post again.

    Have a good one:):):)
