I have just bought the HP S3431 computer complete with a 160gb pocket media drive that slots into it

You are supposed to slot it in and it installs a program and you can use it with your media
But the software will not install Please help
I get a box come up and you are supposed to click OK
    (See pic)
But there is no OK BUTTON there

Have you tried changing any of the values on the screen to see if the OK will appear?

Or try changing/increasing the resolution of the screen by Right Clicking on the Desktop and selecting Personalize and then Display Settings, it may cause the OK button to re-appear.

If that doesn't help then try running the HP Update Utility that shoudl be installed on your PC to get any updates that may resolve this. You can also download the HP Update from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/...&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&product=3715653

I'd call up HP then, if its new they should be able to assist you over the phone.

Was the HP pre-setup for you by the place of purchase? If so then make the recovery discs and restore it back to factory defaults.

Where was the system bought from? Directly from HP or another source?

Hi all of a sudden it worked. I kept clicking enter as I inserted the pocket media and even though there was no OK button there it just carried on and installed everything So thanks anyway
Don't suppose you know how I use it to backup through Roxio do you?

Nope, never used one. Shoudl be straight forward, might be a guide or help file on the HP system for it as well.
