What program are you using to create the labels? Word?
If it's Word when you click File and Print select Printer Properties. On that page you should see "media type". Is Index Card Letter a choice listed there?
Yes your right Cookie, i tested it and it worked but when i go to print mode there is option to make my print on the label bigger it comes out as 6 size font
Right-click the blank box and select Font and you will get the screen to change the font style and type. Then type the address in that box and click on Options to select the type of label you want and whether you want a full page or just one label.
Go to your Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Right-click on Devices and Printers and select "Printer Preferences" and select your printer from the list on the right then click on the Main tab and at the bottom select "Preview before printing" then click "Apply" and OK.
There should be a way to set it up so it previews all print jobs automatically whether you're printing something or not and that's what I'm looking for.
I can't seem to find it as a function of the printer but in Word there should be an option in the menu bar at the top to place an icon you can click on for "print preview and print".
If you are using Office 365
File>Options(down the bottom)>Quick Access Toolbar.
Left hand column Scroll down Print Preview & Print
Click once to highlight Click add Click Ok
This will put an Icon in the Quick access Toolbar
The same with older version of word but it is under Options> Customize

Cookie I am using MS 365, Peter i added the print preview option thanks , back to my original issue when i select label and the pop up window comes up and I increase font size my content does not show in one line
That's because of your label selection. If you look at the sample label it's very narrow but tall so it looks like the orientation is not correct.
I checked on mine and there should be two Microsoft 30 page address label options, one that's 1" wide and 2.63" high which is what you selected and another that's the opposite, 2.63" wide and 1" high so select that one instead.
Makes sense Cookie, i am using dollar store labels i will use Avery
Thanks
