Literally the evening I got an iPad for my birthday, the laptop I use to run my business stopped working. When I turn on the computer and get to the "Launch windows normally / Safe mode" window and choose to do so normally, I get a black screen that says "windows" with a bar that indicates it is thinking. The screen then blacks out but the cursor still functions.

A few times I have been able to start my computer by pressing f10 during startup and toying with the system date. The basic maneuvers haven't worked. The computer can't seem to self diagnose the problem.

    What do I do?

please start your own thread for your own problems

although problems may appear the same they often branch out to a different cause and different solution
