If it is working as a CD-ROM you have all the drivers you need. It is up to the recording software from there.

Record Now is better software IMO than EZCD4 and the download is free: http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/cposupport/swindex.pl?p=hpcdwriter22100&l=en&c=MicrosoftWindows2000Provv You might also want Simple Backup and DLA. DLA is packet writing and I think the DirectCD that comes with EZCD is better. It is a separate update at Roxio lower on the page – update both EZCD and DirectCD. Don’t put both DLA and DirectCD on the computer at the same time. If you decide to try DLA go to add/remove programs and uninstall DirectCD. No problem with having both Record Now and EZCD. http://www.roxio.com/en/support/ecd...l;jsessionid=NLR3A4QEJW45TLAQAMFRVQVMCACAYIV0
