hello, I just bought a HP Laser Jet Pro MFP M28-M31 printer. the problem is that it will not operate. I called HP Support and was told it was because i have an "unsecured network" and for $149.00 HP would fix it since my warranty expired. I checked the status of my Linksys router and it says it is secure. any ideas of my problem, is there some other security function i am missing, or what? or is this some kind of "HP shakedown" I have no problem returning the printer but now i'm concerned i might have a security problem.
you advice is valued, thank you
