HP G60-630US Notebook PC no bios black screen

    I was messing around with my
    HP G60-630US Notebook PC and think to be a good idea to flash the bios :] I tried key combination but it didn't work I tried using hp bios recovery but I think I got the wrong files sorry about the spelling errors I am just 13 :p

    it powers on but doesn't boot

    HP G60-630US Notebook PC (support site)

    The most current BIOS for it is F.65 Rev. A which was released on January 10, 2011.

    Is this the BIOS update you tried to install, or did you try to install a different version?

    If the machine does not boot and you cannot get into the BIOS again, then the machine is bricked. The only thing you can do is send it to HP for repair.

    Never ever update the BIOS software unless it addresses an issue in your computer that's needed.
    If the BIOS update process goes wrong, you may be left with a large heavy doorstop.

    That model laptop was introduced in late 2009 or early 2010, so it's almost 10 years old.
    Sending it to HP to fix it (if it can still be done) would cost more than what it's worth.
