We need a few more details here to try and assist you. First of all, please download and run the TSG System Information Utility on your PC, run it, and then copy the results back to this thread. Secondly, how are you attempting to connect the printer to your PC? USB, Ethernet, Wireless, or Bluetooth?

With this printer, it's best to install the HP universal print driver before connecting the printer via USB. If you let me know which OS is running, I can point you in the right direction.

Okay, we were just posting simultaneously...heh

Go here and download the package for HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 (64-bit). Unplug the printer and remove any printer objects showing up, and then you should reboot the PC. Run the installer and, when prompted, reconnect the USB cable between the printer and PC.

Can you give more information than "didn't work"? That's not really helpful. What happened when you tried this?

Your picture shows an HP universal Printer PCL5 above the one you pointed at and that is the one which ought to work. Right-click on it, choose Printer Properties, and click the Print test page button. Does that work?
If it does, right-click on it again and choose set as default.
