HP Pavilion 8380 replace old hard drive w new 80g WD

    I replaced the old hard drived w a new WD 80G. Now the old HP will not see the A, C or D drives when I give it power. Any thoughts?

    I also put the old drive back in and still no results.

    Depends on the question, and I cannot work out what that is.

    Are you implying that the PC now cannot see any drives? Does it boot?

    Re-read your post, see if it actually tells anything about what your problem is, perhaps its just me...

    Yes to your question. The computer powers up put nothing else.
