i have a older hp pavilion ze 4200 and a while back my son tried to flash the bios and something was done wrong. now my laptop won't boot up or do anything, it just sits there.
is there a way and how can i flash the bios to be able to use this thing again. another issue is no floppy drive just a dvd/cd rom so I'm guessing it would have to be some kind of bootable cd or dvd. please help
thanks in advance

Hi and welcome. You maybe out of luck. Sometimes you can try to reflash them with an older copy. Does it even turn on?

If you put the windows cd in the drive, then turn it on, will it even attempt to boot to it? In all reality, you probably have yourself a boat anchor now.

Boat anchor. Attached to a boat so that it won't float away. Heavy object.

In other words, things don't look good for the laptop :(
