Hey guys, in need of some help, got a HP Pavilion DV6-3040SA that wont boot up.
The screen isn't coming on and the caps lock is just flashing away at me, on the list of error codes on HP's website it tells me that one flash is CPU issue. When I first had the laptop doing a hard reset and then swapping RAM about cured the laptop and it got to the boot stage. As I needed to re-install Windows I had to wait for the hard drive to be given to me to install. I come to the laptop only to find its flashing away at me again.
Tried re-seating CPU and moving RAM around but this time its still broke. Any ideas?
