    Hi,

I have an HP Pavilion TX-1000 Entertainment PC that is really frustrating me. It will not connect to my wireless router. I have had this laptop for at least 3 years and it connects to any other wireless connection I've ever tried ( at my sons with Cox, every airport, overseas, and with my previous Qwest
routers ). Since I moved and now have a Qwest PK5000Z router this laptop will not connect. The error message I get is " The network security key is incorrect ", but it's not of course. All other laptops I've used here connect successfully, Dell, Mac, Toshiba, etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

take the wireless security off the router and see if it now connects
then put the security back on and try again
what type of security are you using

also have a look at removing the wireless profiles

what windows version do you have
