Hello, I have an HP Pavilion x360 - m3-u103dx and I am looking to upgrade the SSD to a larger one somewhere between 240GB and 480GB. I'm assuming it's limited to a M.2 Sata SSD and I can't install an NVME drive in this system. So with that in mind what would you recommend as the best option, that get's the fastest speeds or speeds that are at least as good as what I am getting now. According to HP the current drive is a SanDisk SD8SNAT-128G 1006, I will include a CDM of the speeds I am getting now.

Here is the service manual http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05226489

AS I read it the drive that is now in is an M2 SATA interface 2280
It will certainly not take an M2 PCIe interface
What length it will take of M2 other than 80 I do not know
It is not in the manual nor on the HP site as far as I can see

It appears to require removal of the keyboard rather than being able to access in a panel on the underside of the case.
If you have not done such before TAKE your time and read the service manual carefully
It is very easy to break clips or damage connections

Thanks and yes I see that so I will be careful. Any brand you'd recommend that gets reliable speeds that either compare or are as fast as what I'm currently getting. I know the post before you linked to crucial but just curious if you have any recommendations.

Thanks again

Thanks, I ended up buying this drive.

I got it in Like new condition for $40 so it was still brand new just had open packaging. It arrived today and I installed it and got everything put back together and all is working. According to CDI which I just checked it's power on hours is only 4 so the amount of time I've had it on so never been used. I also ran CDM and I am pleased so far with the results compared to the previous drive.

Thanks again all for the replies/suggestions etc
