I installed a new cartridge in HP PSC 1510, and now it prints a Test Page before every print job. I have tried EVERYTHING to make it stop. Wastes lots of time and ink. Please, someone assist.

Check within the HP printer program, it's probably installed as a program. Perhaps there is a setting there that automatically prints a test page prior to every print job?

Well, it never did it before. This printer is a POS to begin with, I ought to throw it in the dumpster and be done with it. And as for someone else's post on another forum that I should have replaced both cartridges at the same time, maybe I don't need a color cartridge -- but that sure would be profitable for HP, wouldn't it??
