I have a reoccuring problem with a HP PSC 950. Frequently, whenever I try to print, copy, or scan, the digital display indicates "Warming Up." This remains so forever! Therefore, I cannot print or copy or scan.
Following the on-line technical support from HP, I have tried everything - turned it off and on, unplugged and replugged in any number of sequences, plugged the power source directly into the wall outlet instead of the surge protector, reprogrammed the unit, etc., etc. If any of these "fixes" work, they work only for a short time before the problem again occurs. I also have the most current drivers installed.
Any ideas if this is a hardware problem (poor power source component), a software problem, a settings problem? Thanks.
